I saw this great segment on the Martha Stewart show the other day where she had a group of girls from a local sewing class sharing their reversible purse design.

It seems like a great simple starter project as I have yet to create anything from scratch on my sewing machine.
There's my Hello Kitty Janome. It's really cute on the craft table.

hey! i saw that segment on martha the other day too. i was working out at the gym when i saw it and was like "if i was at home, i'd be taking notes and making that."
