fourth of july

We weren't celebrating the 4th of July, but we decided to picnic with a view of the United States at Queenston Heights. I guess we might have been celebrating the 4th of July if it weren't for Sir Isaac Brock who's monument we picnicked under. This place is our favourite picnic spot because the grounds are always so perfectly maintained by the Niagara Parks. It's also a lovely drive to and from Queenston through St. David's.

These are just a few photos of our time.

Nuno and I have spent so many summers picnicking here, it's wonderful to have Owen with us now.
